Hi there!

I'm Anna Funk, the brains behind this operation. I guess you want to know a bit about me?

Well...

It all started some time back in the 90s when I was introduced to the Internet at the ridiculously young age of... We won't talk about my age. By the time I was 12, I had created my first home page. It was simple, to say the least, but it was the beginning of a beautiful obsession that keeps me awake into the wee hours of the night (and often morning).

The hobby/obsession that started when I was a little kid led me to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Web Design and Interactive Media from the Art Institute of California in Orange County.

During my time at The Art Institute, I participated in the peer tutoring program, teaching html/css, Actionscript 3.0, JavaScript and PHP. I also founded a club for the web design program. As President of the iNet club, I planned and organized several events ranging from lectures, workshops and social gatherings. The Art Institute named iNet the "Club of the Quarter" for the winter 2010 quarter.

As a professional, I have an appreciation for addiction to interesting challenges. Nothing makes me happier than chatting with clients about their project, and finding the best solutions to fit their needs (that, and a Venti Raspberry Mocha Frappuccino ).

I'm also a complete perfectionist. When I'm not working, I'm absorbed in research on the newest design trends, the best coding practices, and the most efficient working habits. The key is to never stop asking "Is there a better way to do this?"

When I do manage to force myself away from the computer, I take care of my boyfriend, Chris, and my cat Dinah. I'm a Disneyland annual pass-holder, Sci-Fi junky, technophile, movie-lover and imaginary superhero android racecar driver.

But above all else, I love to talk with people- not just to them. There's a difference. Being engaged in a conversation is more interesting than just talking about the weather. I love stories, and I'm attracted to people with stories to tell- people who have more to say than just "I'm doing well, what about you?" Because I know that, given the chance, I have plenty of my own stories to share.
